climbers & wall shrubs

Climbing Collection - ParthenocissusWith over 120 varieties across our range of climbers, clematis and wall shrubs, we can supply an authorative range throughout the season.

We think there is plenty of potential to increase the market for climbers and wall shrubs. The average garden might be getting smaller, but generally they are still surrounded by a fence or wall, all with the potential for being covered by climbers and wall shrubs.
 Climbing and Wall Shrub Collection
Attracting wildlife into the garden is now an important consideration for many customers and climbers and wall shrubs provide a great haven for wildlife, especially where space is limited.

For those who value low maintenance gardening, planting a climber to cover a fence is more convenient than regular painting and with companion planting to extend the season of interest there is excellent opportunities for linked sales.

With all this in mind our NEW colour labels and co-ordinated bed cards have been designed to be eye-catching and informative with key information easily accessible giving consumers inspiration, solutions and confidence.

You can reserve your climber requirements for call off throughout the season. Alternatively our regular availability and topical lists give up-to-date stock status, helping you keep your climber area nursery fresh.

Ring and Cane Presentation
The new ring and cane presentation adds value by giving a fuller more natural look. Air movement is increased through the stems, improving shelf life and making maintenance easier. The consumer once home can simply lean the climber against the support structure or wall and it will grow with the cane and rings still in place.

The ring and cane presentation is featured on all climbers and wall shrubs where appropriate. The majority are on a 90cm cane and full details are in the Plant Buyer’s Guide.
